God is eternal. He always has existed and been alive and He always will be. Though it is hard to understand Jesus Christ is God and He died for the sins of all mankind and rose again on the third day. Since He is God, in perfect unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit He also is 'alive forevermore' which is what He said to John on the Island of Patmos in the 90's AD.

The central doctrine the Christian religion is belief that Jesus Christ was crucified, dead and buried, then rose from the dead. This is the Passion, remembered during Lent and Holy Week each year, and the Resurrection, celebrated on Easter Sunday.

The "orthodox" (official, accepted) belief is that Jesus rose from the grave physically, never to die again, so the answer to your question would be "yes, Jesus is still alive."

The Church teaches that Jesus rose in the same body that was crucified and died, that he remained in the grave from Friday evening through Sunday morning, when that same body rose as a "glorified" body that could never be harmed, injured, sickened or die again. The Church also teaches that Christ ascended bodily on Pentecost (50 days after Easter) and that he rules (bodily) in heaven until some unknown future day when he will (bodily) return to earth at the end of time.

However, since the earliest days of Christianity, there have been groups of believers who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and follow his teachings without feeling that it is necessary to believe in the bodily resurrection. Many church members consider themselves Christians in every way, while openly or quietly believing that a miraculous resurrection simply isn't necessary.

From that viewpoint, the answer to your question would be, "yes, Jesus is alive in spirit, but not in a living physical body other than through those who believe in him."

yes

Jesus is a construct, if something exists in your thoughts then it can be said to live.

There is no evidence of the existence of a man called Jesus who did the things he supposedly did. There is a lot of evidence that local areas around the Mediterranean had similar dying/resurrecting sons of God. This started with Osiris in Egypt and was turned into Dionysus by Pythagoras, the rest developed from these, Jesus was the last one created by the Jewish philosophers of Alexandria.

Freke and Gandy's The Jesus Myseries will tell you all about the true Jesus story. W H Uffington reveals the origins of the religion as well as who preserved the truth in The Greatest Lie Ever Told, which Christianity has become.

- He is dead in real, but in my fantasy world, he is still alive and happy!!!! :):)

- Dead as dead can be.

According to The Bible, Jesus did die from crucifixion, but came back to life three days later for some time to prove himself to his followers. Afterwards, he returned to Heaven to be with God, his father.

His body is dead, but that is insignificant.
He has been dead for 1000s of years. The way that he died ist that he was crucified.

In the Bible it says yes, obviously, but apart from religious recounts like that no one really knows. He probally was, but that Jesus might just be a nice guy and completely normal, just dieing for his religion (Judaism and Christianity).

No, there is NO evidence. The evidence is made up by the church.

Yes, the evidence is that He was. Those who saw Him die and helped bury Him were so taken by surprise that they mostly refused to believe the earliest accounts of those who saw Him. Nevertheless, in the end they had to accept the evidence and wrote about it.

Acts 1:3 (King James Version)3To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 (King James Version)1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Jesus was only dead for 3 days. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. Romans 6:9, Hebrews 10:12

I'm suggesting that God is still alive.

Another suggestion: God is neither alive nor dead, but exists outside of human understanding.
