The press is not sure about that. Demi appeared at her high school prom with old rings and peaked at Demi's fourth finger and saw a ring. They broke up because of their busy schedules. However, after that split, things became really awkward on tour. Demi was very depressed and upset about the break up. People Magazine says Joe broke up with Demi because she had a bad attitude. I am not sure how true that is. Demi is in treatment seeking help for some physical and emotional issues. Once she is released, I'm sure things will be settled between her and Joe. They will always be friends.
