They are SAG, AEA, and AFTRA certified, they are probably the only ones around who are NOT a scam
Many people are quick to label it a scam but it is a legitimate business because they state clearly that they are a training center/school and that they charge for people to use their services. They do not promise or guarantee that anyone that pays for their services will become famous or go on to get signed to an agency. If they did do that, it would be a false claim, which could then be used to label it as a scam of sorts.
No, some people think John Robert Powers is a scam. But it is not an agency that books you jobs, it is a school where you learn about modeling and acting.
can't prove it but they seem to select people based upon their parent's enthusiasm (to pay). Having open auditions every Saturday and Monday afternoon is not the way that a legitimate Agency works. Many scam businesses operate this way - they take advantage and exploit people's emotions while they are at their facility. But the key to it is to have the appearance of being "qualified" or the need to jump through a few hoops so they feel as if they've earned it. Now, this means they have to "select" their victims carefully. so as not to select boistrous or sharp personality types that could give them trouble. They don't want to have messes to clean up. For the principals it's an interesting business model but fraught with risk. I dont know how long they've been operating but if it is a scam time and complaints will catch up with them.
Nothing, not a single penny! If a agency asks for money up front it is a scam and you should not pay it whatsoever no matter what they offer you! Real agencies ask for no money up front, they only get paid when you make money from an audition they set for you! Most of the time they only get 20% of what you make. So remember that you don't pay anything for an agency.
Are you experienced? Experienced actors can live in Texas and have an agent in Califoirnia, that is what Debby Ryan did. But if you have little or no expierience, try looking for a legit agency in your area. Legit means that it is not a scam. Agents only make money if you do.

yes! i speak from personal experience Can you elaborate please?
Sounds like a scam.
According to the information on the agency's website, they appear legit. As long as they do not charge upfront fees for workshops, photos or classes, they should be fine to sign with.
Any thing that is I got talent or interface then that is a scam
The biggest red flags that an "agency" might be a scam include but are not limited to: - charging mandatory upfront fees BEFORE offering a contract - promising talent they will be successful and will book work - telling talent that if they don't sign up for/pay for workshops, classes and/or conventions, the agency won't be able to consider them - asking for money in the form of a down payment or arranging payment installments for various "fees"
