Is Kingdom Hearts 3 going to be on the PS2?

I have emailed Square Enix and they had this to say; "Our parent company, SQUARE ENIX of Japan, has no current plans to create a sequel to that particular title at this time" i don't believe that for a second, but now i can't do anything else but look for rumours and hope that some are true for the PS2.

My opinion:

It is very unlikely that KH3 will be on the PS2, considering the recent titles produced by Square Enix. All of these newer titles are getting better and better in terms of graphics and playability. Kingdom Hearts 3, although not officially announced, will most likely be on the PlayStation 3 because of its importance. The only newer titles for the PS2 are the Guitar Hero titles and less popular games, and this isn't the case with Kingdom Hearts. I'm sure that Tetsuya Nomura (director and character designer for the Kingdom Hearts series) has bigger plans for the title, so we just have to wait and find out. Hopefully Kingdom Hearts 3 will be on the PS3 and/or Xbox 360, so we can fully appreciate Square Enix's ability to produce the best games around.
