Is Klonopin a controlled substance?
Clonazepam, the checmical name for this medication, IS a controlled substance.
No! Klonopin is a sublingual prescription for panic disorders and epilepsy. Adult dose is .5mg/day up to .25 twice daily, depending on age, medical condition being treated and your medical history. Injecting it apparently helps it take effect 5 seconds sooner, but with a lot more risk. It is a controlled substance and is highly addicting.
