yes but it doesnt come with a wide selection of phones.
Koodo cell phones are created by Koodo Mobile, which is a subdivision of Telus, a telecommunications company based in Canada. Koodo phones are readily available in Canada, but less so in other parts of the world.
Sprint and Koodo both use the CDMA system so the phones are compatible with both networks.
You need to have a GSM/HSPA cellphone. you have to put a sim card inside the phone. But it's not all phone will work on the koodo network because it's a new network, HSPA.
There are good and bad parts to all communications companies. It depends on what company offers the services that best suits your needs and price point. Koodo is an offshoot of TELUS mobile and doesn't require fixed term contracts and instead offers a tab where customers can earn credit towards new phones.
I would recommend an Iphone with a contract with Bell or Koodo. Bell gives you the Iphone when you buy a contract of three years. Koodo is cheaper, but you need to buy the Iphone.
Koodo Mobile was created in 2008-03.
I'm a representative of koodo. We have been experiencing Network difficulties with our Network. When a Koodo cellular phone displays "Message not sent", it is possible that the message was not sent. However the recipiant could have received one or more copies of the message and replied to it and when the primary sender tries to reply to the reply to their message, it completely fails. This is an issue that affected every koodo client nationnally and has since been resolved. This is NOT a regular problem with Koodo phones! -Actually, this has happened to me a few months ago..and just again today! Messages were not sending and my friend got many of those messages...apparently it has not been resolved..time to switch back to Fido...
Yes - Some are Bell, Fido, Koodo, Mike(Telus), Public, Rogers, Solo, and Virgin Mobile
