The last one I saw at auction was seeking an OPENING bid of $11,200. At those prices, they should be EXCEPTIONALLY well made guns.
L. Christophe was a well respected Belgium maker. There were a lot of really cheap Belgian guns made, but Christophe made some good guns. Go to www.doublegunshop.com and ask on the bulletin board. You'll need to post some pics and be prepared to give some details on the gun when they ask for them.
Well, it is a Hawken rifle (name of the brothers that created it in the 1820s) There were no specific "models" as such- each rifle was hand made. Known as Great Plains rifles, unlike the Pennsylvania or Kentucky rifle used in the East, the Hawken was made for the Western frontier. They were shorter than the Pennsylvania rifle, larger caliber (usually .50 or larger), half stocked, and had a double trigger. Very reliable and very accurate.
The answer has been lost- as was Boone's rifle when he was captured by Indians. At the time his rifle was made, guns were made by individual gunsmiths. It is possible it was made by one of several smiths from the Berks County PA area. Guns that are on display as "Daniel Boone's rifle" have been found to be, well, less than authentic.
A British empire made rifle used during WW1, WW2 and still to be found & used in many, many countries. A very well made & dependable bolt action rifle with a 10 round magazine.
If you mean the rifle used in the TV series The Rifleman, that was a modified Winchester Model 1892- which is a rather pricy collector's rifle. However, the Spanish made El Tigre was used in the show as well (when rifle was to be dropped or thrown) and is less expensive. Start by checking with a well connected gun shop.
One can get a rifle stock custom made in Dallas at a company called Beretta. There are many other locations across the United States as well such as New York City.
A remanufactured FN-FAL semi-auto rifle using an IMBEL(Brazilian) receiver and Israeli military surplus parts. A very well made & quality rifle.

Well the mini 14 comes in stainless steel. That is made by Ruger. There is also a Ruger 22 cal. stainless steel rifle.
There is no difference.
well there are normally 4 but it differs on the episode, out of the 4 there are a Henry or Winchester 30-30 rifle, Remington double barrel 12 gauge pump and a .306 bolt action rifle.
Making a .22 supressor without a license is a federal crime.
