as the last person falsley stated. Linkin Park is INDEED breaking up thank you TMZ and not just tmz but I have a friend that is a roading for them. He stated that they are getting tired and are bickering and fighting way too much that by the end of this year linkin park will be no more.
as reported by the drummer himself, he stated that I cant take this and if they are going to boss me around like they are I quit.. and they wsaid if he quits i quit too.. much like what happened to The Beatles. so To answer the question YES they are breaking up but most likley not till 2012.

∙ 14y agoLinkin Park has said numerous times, that they are NOT tied to one specific genre or style. Linkin Park's Minutes To Midnight producer was Rick Rubin and he challenged them into making something, that was out of their "comfort zone". That is - something that they haven't done before, but something that still had some of the old LP left in it. Even, their upcoming album (which will probably be released spring of 2010) will also be different. Mike Shinoda said that "it's going to be a ground breaking album". Hybrid Theory and Meteora (their first two studio albums) weren't the same.

∙ 12y agoNo,they have not broken up , the lead singer (chester bennington) has made his own band dead by sunrise , this is just his side project , like in the middle another band member mike shinoda had made his own band as a side project which named fort minor .... linkin park will start working for there new album from December .
