Generally Mathematics is considered to be compulsary subject to get admission in BCA. Eligibility Education Qualification The minimum education qualification required for the BCA course is 10+2. If you opt for a Distance Degree then it is there in ANAMALAI University, SMUDE, IIBM India and may be in some other DE universities..... But is this case you have to look for a authenticated one like Anamalai/SMU N.B. - I don't know the details of ICFAI....

There are some differences in MCA and MCS which I have listed below. 1. MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application in which students are taught Application Languages and software only. They taught at much deeper level as compared to MCS syllabus, and where as MCS stands for Masters in Computer Science and students are taught at shallower level and also covers hardware, networking to some extent. 2.MCA is 3 year duration course in Most of Indian Universities, where as MCS is 2 years duration Course in Most of Indian Universities.
I have completed PGDCA from Sambalpur University and after that I want to do the MCA course in 2 year ( lateral entry ) for save 1 year of my career as I already cover the PGDCA ( 1 year ).so please guide me what to do ?

Bachelor in Computer Applications(BCA)The BCA provides an understanding and skills related to the use of computer and its application. The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing as a career.
