I think VISA is better, for these reasons: -They are accepted at more merchant locations. -VISA is a larger conglomerate who can afford lower rates (to preferred customers or credit ratings) -MasterCard probably needs to get more compelling in their marketing to alleviate any negative connotations to their (acceptable) presence.
