Guatemala, is a Central American country south of Mexico. It is in the continent of North America.
Everything south of Mexico is part of South America.
Mexico is located in North America; Colombia is part of the South American continent.
Central America is part of the North American continent.
I don't know about South America, but the continent of North America consists of Canada, America, and Mexico. The Arctic Ocean is north of Canada, the Pacific west of America, the Atlantic to the east of it, and again, the Atlantic below Mexico.
Mexico City is located on the North American continent, or America, depending on the 5 or 7-continent model you currently use. It is the capital of the country of Mexico, just south of the United States (commonly mistaken as "America").
