It is a personal preference. Apple computers are over priced for the hardware that comes with them, over all they are not that great. The MAC OS X operating system is not nearly has flexable as the Windows operating system. If you are looking for a home computer, I would personally choose a Windows PC. Plus, you can obtain a Windows computer with much better hardware for less than half the price of an Apple computer.
Many people have their own opinions why either are better than the other, but my opinion is Apple is better. Reasons ___________ * Reason 1: Apple have small wireless keyboards and mouses small enough to fit in a luggage, and letters are still touchable and aren't too small, but Microsoft is big and can't fit anywhere also isn't wireless * Reason 2: Apple has many more products than Microsoft it has it's own Apple computer, Ipods, Ipads, Iphones, and many more also, Apple has it's very own and very popular website "Itunes", but Microsoft only has it's very own computer and it's very own popular website "Microsoft Word" *Reason 3: The Apple company had to sue Microsoft for creating a brand similar to Apple, because Microsoft copied the Apple computer into making the Microsoft computer, but Apple still let them sell their computers *BONUS REASON: The Stock Market on Apple is higher than Microsoft it is very popular many talk about it on TV Creator of Companies: Apple - Steve Jobs Microsoft - Bill Gates So those are my reasons why I think Apple is better.
no because apple has diffrent software than micrsoft
Yes, Apple has had a reliable cloud service with a high reputation for many years now. As a member of MobileMe and iCloud, I can say that the service is excellent, and far better than Microsoft.
Microsoft is a large corporation producing software and hardware. A Mac is a brand of computer produced by Apple. They are different things and cannot be compared. A Mac running software produced by Microsoft is probably better than anything.
In what sense is Microsoft more successful than Apple? Apple has a revenue of $42.9 billion (2009 figure) compared to Microsoft's $40.2 billion (2010 figure). It is true that Microsoft is a larger company with 89,000 employees (Apple has 34,300 employees) but they are different companies doing different things which occasionally overlap but are not in direct competition. Apple produces a range of hardware - computers, phones, etc. that Microsoft does not. When they do operate in the same market, for example Apple's iPod and Microsoft's Zune, Apple is around 10 times more successful than Microsoft.
Everything. Microsoft is pathetic?
windows, mac is stupid and its hard to use because its a useless piece of junk. and microsoft windows has a better product and is more popular than a mac.
I would say that mac's are better than PC's because they have an easlier, better, and faster computer and interface. As the days pass on Apple's computers become better and better, but Microsoft is losing 80 BILLION dollars to apple. The only downside to Apple is that it's more on the expensive side, but when you think about it your paying for the premium service, so I say it's worth the price. It depends who is behind the computer.

Apple has not once been part of Microsoft.
Microsoft is better
Today Microsoft produces a range of software for Apple's Macintosh computers and Apple produces software for computers running Microsoft's Windows operating system. There has been a friendly rivalry between the two companies for many years. In their early days Microsoft was employed by Apple to produce software for them. This relationship evolved and Microsoft licensed some aspects of the Macintosh operating system from Apple to use in their own version which they called Windows. Microsoft started using more of Apple's ideas than they had been allowed to by the licensing deal and they also "acquired" some of the QuickTime programming code which they used in their own media player. This resulted in a long running legal dispute between the two companies. In general Microsoft has taken more from Apple than Apple has taken from Microsoft.
