As of my personal experience milk is conceptional until the moment it exposes bad smell. I personally can not use up a litre package of milk in 2-3 days as it is prescribed in instructions Therefore, I just keep it in my fridge and use for cereal or chocolate drinks for as long as week. But, pay attention to the fat percentage more fat the milk-quicker sours and spoils. Usually I use 0,1-1 % fat milk which is half water mixed and probably that's the reason why it is usable for a longer time.
