No. Nancy Drew, created by Edward Stratmeyer, is the main human character of the Nancy Drew books. Since Stratmeyer's death, various authors under the direction of his granddaughter have written under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene. (The same goes for the Hardy Boys written by those under the name Franklin W. Dixon.) Anyway, she is a teen sleuth, or detective. The books are still published today - over 75 years later. These books are incredible. I am a huge Nancy Drew fan and have been for what seems like forever. TV shows (now long cancelled) as well a a couple movies have been made. The only movie in this decade (or two) was in theaters last year and involved a fake ghost. I DO NOT recommend this movie for it is all wrong and insulting to any tru Nancy Drew fan.
