North Korea is the epitome of an autocratic government. They have strict, oppressive laws that often lead to the death and imprisonment of citizens.
There are a number of governments that have autocracy (are ruled by an autocrat). North Korea comes immediately to mind, and some might also say the current leader of Syria is autocratic.
Government by a single person having unlimited power; despotism. - As is in North Korea
Autocracy is a system of government whereby supreme power is held by a single person. North Korea could be considered autocratic as its supreme leader is Kim Jong Un.
A King or Queen ruling
North Korea is a dynastic communist state. Libya was, until 2011, an autocracy. Since 2011, it has been embroiled in civil wars and had no consistent governing authority.
They all have COMMUNIST governments, but beside that they are very different. China has a Leninist Communist Dictatorship, Cuba has a Communist Autocracy, and North Korea is a Dynastic Communist State.
North Korea and Zimbabwe both do. There is the pretence of elections and power sharing in Zimbabwe but any sensible person can see it for a cruel sham.
