There are many criteria by which to measure the "size" of airports. Passengers embarked, aircraft movements, runways, domestic vs. international passengers, etc., but the use of the term "bigger" implies physical size, and in that respect, Heathrow has a slight edge over O'hare by about eight tenths of a square mile. On the other hand, O'hare has some seven runways to Heathrow's two.
