* Definitely * Actually no, the president is not to blame for the high gas prices. Although most people think that he is, he is not. OPEC countries are to blame. They control the supply of oil, which means that they also control the price of it! The price of oil per barrel has increased in the past few years. In 2005 the price for one barrel was $50. Now, it is almost $95! Gas prices are raising so we can afford the high oil prices.
