Olive is a dog who mishears a comment on the radio that leads her to believe that she is the "other reindeer" whom Santa needs to help deliver Christmas gifts since Blitzen is injured. So, Olive is not a reindeer, but at the end of the story, she is given a pair of antlers, so she might be viewed as an honorary reindeer.

∙ 8y agoNot exactly. Olive the other reindeer was actually a dog. She set out to save Christmas after Blitzen was injured and couldn't fly. This was a Christmas special in 2003, and it starred Drew Barrymore.
