(width/height/diameter)
225/60/16 is the standard for my impala.
Yes, 215 is fine.
All that means is the tire is not as wide. Racers always want wider tires for better traction. A narrower tire might give less traction and a harder ride. a taller tire will ride softer. A shorter tire will ride stiffer and respond quicker (if you're narrower it's going to be shorter as well because your tire will want to stretch). You don't want to get a smaller rims size, that's just not gonna work.
No, it is not an acceptable swap. The 215/70-16 tire will be 6.47% larger overall diameter. You should never go over or under 3%. No 70 series tire will be an acceptable swap.
tire size for 97 venture is P215-75R-15
mine came with Goodyear Eagles, size P215/60R/14
The correct tire pressure for a 2000 Chevy Venture is 32 psi front and rear. This is for the original tire sizes of P215/70R15 front, and P225/60R16 rear.
"Listed on the driver's door post." it usually is listed on door post but on mine is not but i believe it takes P215/60R15
Mine came with: Bridgestone Turanza EL42 (NZ) P215/55R17 93V M+S
It might differ depending on if it's a Malibu "LS" or just a plain Malibu. My plain Malibu requires P215/60R15.
Yes, but your speedometer will be wrong. You can have this adjusted at the dealership, or remember you are ~3-5mi/hr off
It is 215 mm wide at tread, could be any diameter. If a 15 inch, it will be designated something like "p215 70R 15"
P215/60R15
"depends on your rim/wheel sizes. typically 215-235 width and 35-55 height. Tirerack.com could help you as well." Stock P215/60R15 i do believe.
i recently bought a used 1997 Chevy Malibu V6 and the tires on it were all p205/65 R15 but i was searching online to price out a new set and fountain tire says the standard size is P215/60 R15. hope this helps
