I recently almost got scammed into selling someone my ultrasharp monitor and he was willing to pay a lot of money. I almost went through with it until I looked up a bit of information on him. I found a whole site dedicated on his different emails. I could tell it was the same guy because he used the same message for everyone but changed the words around, he even used the same mispelling of words in every message.
I encourage you to get as much information about the person and look them up. If it looks suspicious, its probably not real.

As long as you have money you can be scammed regardless of paypal. You can type in visa, mastercard, moneybrokers, bitcoin, paypal and so on "scammed" into Google and you will find people.
