That is unknown. "Planet X" is the name given to a hypothetical planet beyond Neptune (or beyond Pluto, when it was still considered a planet). No planet is known to exist in our Solar System beyond planet Neptune, but one might still be found.

Does planet X real?

The letter "X" is used to mean something unknown, so there are plenty of "unknown" planets. Science fiction writers used to send spacemen to "Planet X" in cheesy sci-fi novels. Equally cheesy are the urban legends of a "Planet X" that will collide with Earth, or crash into the Sun, or steal the Moon or some such. These are all false; nothing like that is going to happen any time soon. In the early 1920's, some people used the term "Planet X" to denote an undiscovered planet out beyond Neptune. Clyde Tombaugh, working for Percival Lowell, did find another planet out there, which he named "Pluto". So there are more "planet X" candidates out there. But you'll never see one with the naked eye. One thing we do know, however, and it's very real, is the fact that the sun, the Earth, and the supermassive black hole in the center of our galaxy will all be in perfect alignment on December 21, 2012.
