Ratan Tata's remark is 100% wrong - a rich-headed blurt! Though his complaint is 100% right. When a country would become prosperous the citizens would be provided more relaxation and recreation time. Ratan Tata is at least 70 times poorer and foolish (Pound vs. Rupees).who is used to employees with slave mentality and very poor communication skills.

Time is the stuff of which life is made of. If time is taken away by the selfish employers, it is like taking away a part of life (imprisonment).

The ratio between stress and relaxation is usually 1:2 in nature. The heart which relentlessly works all life non-stop, relaxes (diastole) twice the time than pumps (systole). The lungs relaxes (expires) twice the time than draws in air (inspires). A sensible employer similarly allows 8 hours of work a day and twice the time - 16 hours of off-duty.

The time ratio between work and home is rather reverse on a weekly basis - 4.75:2.25 (2:1), considering the Friday mood of 3:30 PM leave). On a yearly basis annual leaves and study leaves are made mandatory such that overworking people (workaholics) do not get deprived.

Not even novice and learning students under learn and earn scheme would come for class what to speak about work after 5:00 PM and on off-days. Nevertheless, locum arrangement is made such that work does not get hampered, though expensive but for the locum worker it is reasonable because he cannot find such a job always.

Like free health care provided by the NHS, relaxation and recreation time is being provided by the employers in Britain. It is not just a matter of prosperity being shared with the people but as well biologically to provide longevity to the citizens. Britain has far more people touching the 100 years age mark than Ratan Tata's people.

Ratan Tata cannot even dream to become The Queen to think in such terms for his own citizens.
