Richard W. DeHaan was the son of Dr. Martin De Haan. His father was the founder of RBC Ministries and Richard took over and led the organization from 1965 until 1985 when his son Mart took over for him who was subsequently succeeded by his brother, Richard's other son, Rick. Richard also wrote a number of full-length books and study booklets for RBC Ministries, including "Satan, Satanism, and Witchcraft," "Israel and the Nations in Prophecy," and "The Art of Staying Off Dead-End Streets: A Fresh Look at Ecclesiastes."
