Every country that has any sort of a system of government has a political philosophy. There are about as many political philosophies as there are governments. The United States, for example, is a constitutional republic with a philosophy of a government with enumerated powers delegated by the people in the form of a constitution that defines and limits the powers of government. The people elect a congress to represent them in the writing of laws and a president to carry out those laws that congress instructs him/her to carry out (unless he/she does not agree to carry them out in the form of a veto). The president appoints justices, with the consent of the senate, to interpret the extent and nature of those laws in light of the constitution. All three branches are separate and equal. There are different types of subgroups of political philosophy within that type. Again, the United States is only one type of political philosophy. Every country/tribe/clan has a political philosophy, and most of them are tied to the history and culture of the people.
