At this time, Jagex has not released any plans to close RuneScape. It will likely be around for many more years to come. I don't think so either because it would wipe out the whole "nerd" specimen due to mass sucide :)
A better link to play it through is the stable server: runescapemodserver.tk
Currently, blocking is not possible on Runescape. Players will simply walk through another player if they are in the way. However, closing doors can prevent players from simply clicking into a building (though eventually, a door jam effect will be put into place after rapid closing/opening).
This may have happened because you are low on memory, try closing a few background programs that you are not using to free up memory.
Runescape is Runescape 2, there is Runescape Classic (RSC) and Runescape 2 (RS2). Although Runescape Classic can now only be played by players who joined before Runescape 2 was released.
There is currently a Runescape 2 and it is a popular MMORPG. You can play it at the website www.runescape.com. It is a F2P (Free to play) and P2P (Pay to play). There was originally Runescape 2, but they renamed runescape 1 "Runescape Classic" and named runescape 2 just "runescape". Runescape classic is runescape 1. Runescape is runescape 2, but they dont call it 2, well most people dont, they just call it runescape. Ricco119

I don't think you can, however you can try to do this on a different browser.
You could try using a different browser and trying it.
runescape 2 is the current runescape runescape 1 is also refered to as runescape classic look it up on wikipedia for a better understanding.
yes, runescape 2 is the neww runescape created in 2003, runescape was created in 2001.
There is no current fix, other than trying to run less programs when you go to play runescape, it may be because programs are lowering your memory to a state that there is not enough for runescape to run on, so closing a few programs may help that, but there is also a java bug too, this can't be fixed unless java releases a bug fix with this included and they haven't so far.
Some internet Browsers tend to crash if too many programs are running at the same time. To counter this, try closing a few programs down, along with background ones you don't need.
