Parents Guide
Sex & Nudity
Lee takes Carter to a spa for a massage. Doors are opened to expose a collection of scantily clad women, mostly in Bras and bra-like tops, and Carter is told to pick any woman he wants for himself and his friend. He scans the women and one of them lifts her breasts up with her hands briefly, and he picks her. He then goes on to pick several more women, who are each shown wearing little and exposing cleavage.
While Lee and Carter are at the spa, fighting Ricky Tan's men, Carter pulls off a towel from on of Ricky's men and you can briefly see his butt. He then covers his front with a bag but Carter disarms it and says "No wonder you mad!".
Lee and Carter have been thrown out on the streets naked but you can't really see because the camera's view is too far away and they are only shown from the back.
Lee and Carter spy on a woman who is getting undressed down to her bra and underwear. Lee looks and acts aroused and says some suggestive things. She later puts on a robe but opens it up and stands in front of them while talking with her bra and underwear exposed. Carter is noticeably staring at her body as she talks with a grin on his face.
Some mild sexual references are thrown here and there, especially by Carter.
Lee and Carter buy their clothes from a stereotypically gay man who dresses in tight clothes, speaks in a high voice, and talks about "smacking their little bottoms."

There is frequent violence that mostly consists of shootings, kung fu fighting and in the beginning, a big explosion.

Language Use
7 scatological terms, about 20 anatomical references, 10 sexual references, 25 mild obscenities, 3 religious profanities, 4 religious exclamations, and some insults and name-calling.
Smoking
This film contains some scenes of tobacco use.
Intense scenes
A woman is engulfed in an explosion.
Personally I think that the film is OK and can be watched without any parental guidance however this is up to the parent or guardian.
Technically Rush Hour 3 would not be appropriate for a 10 year old based on the movie's rating which is PG-13. This move contains violence, adult language, nudity, and adult situations. It would be your best bet to stick with more appropriate movies along the lines of the PG rating.
Only with your parents permission. Most parents would not let someone so young watch an 'R' rated film.
Yes, you can watch an R-rated movie with your parents, but I went there today and they my parent bought the ticket and even walked me to the booth and they would not let me get into the movie without a parent watching it with me.course as long as the adult is over 18 who is buying the ticketyou can see a R rated movie at eny age as long as you are with an adult over the age of 18 and 15 is a great age for R rated movies
I don't think this film should be rated R. It was perfectly fine for my 10,11, & 12 year olds. I really think that it should be rated Pg-13. I loved this movie and i would let any 12 year old watch this! And if your worried about having your 12 year old watch it, don't be. I might just suggest that they have some friends watch it with them.
There will be a movie but it isn't done yet. They think it will be ready for Christmas next year. If you go to youtube there is a trailer you can watch.
year one is rated pg-13 :D
There's no such thing as an m rated movie. That's video games. For video games you have to get a parent to tell the sales person it okay but yes. And movies theres Not Rated, G, PG, PG-13 and R. I'm also 13 and your not supposed to watch rated R movies but if your parents okay it and are fine with it yeah. But always check with them first.
no
Probably not.
NOT AT ALL I am a 48 year old man and this movie scared me soooo much that I nearly crapped my pants(and I am not joking) this movie shouldn't even be rated R I strongly recommend that this movie be changed to rated X and no I do not agree with letting any kid under the age of 20 to watch this very violent and grotesque movie.

As long as a parent approves and watches with the young adult.

"Ted" (2012) is rated 'R' so you would have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

You shouldn't because "M" stands for "Mature" an most 12 year olds aren't considered grown-up enough yet for that. If you go to a movie theater to try to see an M rated movie, they won't let you in, but if your parents rent a DVD... Then you can always watch it at home.
well i think at 13 kids are mature and can take R rated movies i think its ok aslong as you watch it with him
