rye grass should not be fed to chinchillas but timothy hay is essechal for their diet and health and should be provided daiy
No :( only guinea pigs, mice & rabbits
You shouldn't really mix rodents because each and every one is a separate species and has its own dietary and housing needs. If you are going to mix any two species , the best would be guinea pigs and rabbits.
There are so many adorable rodents guinea pigs, hamsters, degus, gerbils, chinchillas, rats and mice
Degus are related to rabbits and chinchillas. To say 'what are they decended from' is a different answer. The degus are decendants of degus. God created animals specially and they have only changed in ways credited to micro-evolution. Some amazing features God gave these little critters are: tails that will shed like a salamander, are great at digging, are very sociable, curious, and playful.
South America in the Lower Andes Mountains. Their range slightly overlaps that of chinchillas.

I don't understand why this is under car buying, but regardless, no, degus are not endangered. They are actually the furthest away from being such. Chinchillas, on the other hand, and pretty close. -Owner of twelve degus. Have had twenty-three.
No. Degus belong to order Rodentia. Rabbits belong to order Lagomorpha.
