Yes. Starbucks has pledged that by the end of June 2012, they will no longer be using ingredients that include cochineal dye, a dye made from crushing a specific type of beetle. The dye was used to provide red and pink food coloring. Instead they will use lycopene, a tomato based dye.

Yes, it's going to be discontinued. I talked with a Pepsi vendor & he told me they were discontinuing the Starbucks Doubleshot Light 6.5 oz can. The original Starbucks Doubleshot 6.5 oz can will still be available though.
