Both are really good games i have both on xbox and i will have to say that tekken is better but if you could choose another game i would recommend assassin's creed 2 or modern warfare 2 because those two games are on the top of the charts but tekken and ufc are amazing but go with tekken :D

∙ 13y agoI have played both the games but prefer Tekken 6. MK is rich in combos and special moves but lacks the simplicity of Tekken 6.

If you like lots of blood, gore, and overall violence, pick Mortal Kombat. If you prefer a more classic cartoonish style, pick street fighter. Overall, they are pretty evenly matched. No infact mortal kombat is a lot more better than street fighter. they are not even a bit guy at the top. um no guy above me, you can't say mortal kombat is any better than street fighter because they are both fighting games and are most definitely evenly matched and FYI its "a lot better" not "more better" Street fighter takes a lot more skill to play if your more of those veteran types. Mortal is fun but mostly because of fatality and gore, plus, the moves are easy to master. I'm not dissing Mortal Kombat, in fact, I pre-ordered the new one coming out, but Street fighter beats Mortal Kombat when it comes to skilled playing. I also want to point out that Mortal Kombat has some cheap characters while in Street Fighter, you can be a champion with any character in the game. I dun know, i guess I'm just more of a classic gamer and Mortal Kombat is not classic in my opinion. And person who says Morrtal Kombat is alot better then Street Fighter, i'd like to see a reason why.

If your a fighter tekken 6.If you like a first person shooter, bit of survival horror and a roleplaying game get fallout 3.Fallout 3 for me anyday, as its basically my perfect single player, but it has no multiplayer on & offline. It has tons of weapons, loads of quests, wide range of difficulty, a thing called V.A.T.S (If your not a FPS fan this is your GOD!), it pauses time and you can shoot body parts and kill enemies easily. watch a couple of youtube videos. I hate RPG's but this is just unique, a post nuclear war city with free roamand loads to shoot and find.However don't look too far off tekken because there both 2 different games. I considered tekken, but i have mortal kombat vs dc universe, and next year the next Mortal kombat is coming out, with original characters. The new tekken seems disapointing from what ive heard but i havent actually played it. apparently the multiplayer is laggy (slow and unresponsive) and the single player can get boring. However ive heard the little movies when you win in arcade mode are funny like the previous games. The new modes have co-op which can be fun with a friend, but unless you find this cheap, it ain't worth it. (and no tekken tag mode!!)I say get fallout 3 (around less than £20);but if you really like fighting games, and the classic legendry fighting game get tekken. (I saw it in blockbuster for £25 which is a bargain) .
