That is a device that is inside the computer. An internal hard drive, for instance, is physically mounted inside the computer. First try moving the device to another USB port!!! Check that the usb device is functional in the Device Manager. some USB devices don't appear in Device Manager use the utility program that came bundled with the device to check for errors.
