Heck No! Turkey is a Moslem country between Europe and Asia- parts are in both continents. The only connection, a bit remote is on a steamship or airplane, Turkey is (En Route) in the Black Sea on the way to Sofia, Bulgaria, and Sophia Loren is a famous Italian actress! ( city is not named after her!) Bulgaria is a former Soviet Republic, Turkey has never been a Communist country. By the way Bulgaria is noted for their cash crop of Gentian Violet- used in smoke generators- deep purple- comrade R- you may start the screening apparatus, as we are in the Black Sea! Turkey is nowhere"s near Italy on a map!
