Valentine's Day is an opening for people to show their appreciation or deeper feelings to a fellow human being. After all we celebrate it in grade school. It can be a day that you share special gifts or events with the love of your life or it can be between a couple of people that are interested in each other or even as it has been done on here that people wish each other a Happy Valentine's day so that all may share in a day that is for "love".
It is a good day to show someone that you are interested in how you feel.
Valentines Day shows connections going back as far as the early AD centuries. Ties are to various saints that are celebrated as Saint Valentines as well as a story that tells of a priest named Valentine that was jailed and formed a relationship with the jailer's daughter and was later executed on February 14th.
