No, Valentine Morgenstern raised Jace. His real father was Stephen Herondale.
Its all in the 3rd book City of glass. :D
Jace Wayland's favorite color is gold.
Valentine Morgenstern dies in the book "City of Glass" in "The Mortal Instruments" series by Cassandra Clare. He is killed by his son, Jace Herondale, during the battle in Idris.
The main characters are Eulinda, Mr. Hampton, and ,Mrs.Hampton
If you have not read the books yet you may not want to read pass this... Anyways he though his father was originally Micheal Wayland. Jace later found out that his real father was Valentine Morgenstern and Jocelyn Fairchild. Again, he found out that Valentine was his first adoptive father and took him after his real mother committed suicide. So his real parents are Stephen Herondale and Cecile Herondale. His adoptive parents right now he considers his real parents, Maryse and Robert Lightwood.
If your question refers to the movie, Jamie Campbell Bower portrays Jace Wayland in City of Bones. If you are asking in reference to the books, Jace Wayland is the son of Stephen Herondale, though he was, at one point, thought to be the son of Michael Wayland and then Valentine Morgenstern. He is part angel, which is a result of Valentine's experiments. He was thought to be the brother of Clary, but was mistaken.I will leave it at that because I do not wish to completely spoil the series.
Jace is not actually part demon. He is part angel, like clary, that's why they have similar scars. Jace is in fact the son Celia Herondale not valentine. Valentine just pretended he was Jace's father. The real Jonathan Christopher (Which is the actual son of valentine) is the one with demon blood. He pretended to be Sebastian in The third book, City of glass. Jace, Clary and Jonathan (Sebastian) Were all Valentines "Experiments." He wanted to create a super shadowhunter. But he failed with all of them. Jonathan was loyal but he never loved valentine and jace was too caring and not loyal enough. Jace and clary both turned against their father using there rare talents. (Clary with runes, and jace with enhanced 'shadowhunter powers') Jace and clary are not related.
She dies in Jace's arms, telling him "your father would be proud of you", meaning Stephen, although Jace at first assumes it was Valentine she was talking about.
They descibed it when Jace and Clary were going to the Bone city in the carrige. Jace was wearing it upside down though because the M represented a W for Micheal Wayland, which he thought was his father at that time
Yes, he does. Jace killed him.
Jace's biological mother is Jennifer Del Rio, who appeared on the reality TV show "16 and Pregnant" in its second season. Jace's legal guardian and primary caregiver is his grandmother, Barbara Evans, who has had custody of him for most of his life.
Clary, upon learning of her father's plans, Portals to Lake Lyn to stop Valentine from summoning Raziel to get a wish. Valentine binds and silences her with runes, then tries to kill her because the summoning requires death, but Jace arrives and stops him. Valentine then proceeds to kill Jace and summon Raziel. Raziel, however, sees through Valentine's selfish plans, kills Valentine and instead gives Clary a wish, since Clary secretly changed his summoning runes which consisted of switching Valentine's name for Clary's. The runes now gone, she asks the angel for Jace to be alive again. He grants it and they are rescued by Shadowhunters going to the lake. The story ends with Jocelyn telling Luke that she loves him, Simon is chased by both Maia and Isabelle because they are probably in love with him. At the very end, Clary is having a romantic night with Jace.
