And it all depends on what you mean by knowledge.
I'd understand knowledge to mean an in-depth understanding of something, that enabled you to see its relationship to other things, to understand how it works and even how to control, manipulate and encourage (or destroy) it.
wiki.answers doesn't do the in-depth thing. It provides short answers to a simple question. Indeed the simpler the question the more chance you have of getting an answer.
So No, wiki.answers does not offer knowledge. WA is very honestly named, it dispenses answers. Rather well.
