Actually, Willi Hubner would only be 92 these days (2012) so it's entirely possiblethat he's alive. He is known to have survived the war and to have been interviewed in a magazine in the 1960s.

There's a photo of him collecting an Iron Cross from Goebbels on Wikipedia aged 16.
