William Paterson is a great business school. They are an AACSB accredited university which means that they have the same accredidation as schools like NYU Stern, Seton Hall, etc. for much less than than half the price. Don't buy into that "you need to go to a big school to get a good job" jargon. Think about it, how does paying $30,000+ a year for tuition while sitting in a 100+person classroom compare to $10,000 tuition with a classroom with no more than 30-40 people? I was on a first name basis with every professor I've had at WPU and the professors are qualified and experienced in the business world.
They have great resources and clubs including a trading floor with real time stock tickers, which is how I ended up getting into stocks. They also have one of the top Professional Sales Major in the country.
I had two professors with MBA's from Harvard, one with a DBA from Harvard, and another one who earned his MBA at NYU alongside his classmate Alan Greenspan.
Career wise, they are great at assisting you with finding jobs and internships. As an accounting major, they set me up with an accounting internship at Gucci America, Inc. corporate offices and I have been offered a position as a book-keeper and I'm only going into my junior year. Many students have gone on to work for Fortune 500 companies and prestigious companies like Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and Smith Barney.
If you keep up your grades, work hard, and actually show up to class William Paterson's business school will definitely set you up for success.
Ivan Boesky was well known for his insider scandal in Wall Street in 1986 when he had garnered over US$200million in betting on corporate takeovers. But he was also a professor in the 1980s at Colombia University for the graduate school of business and at New York's University school of business.
schools of management, school of business management
school organization and business organization is same and different?
Harvard Business School, if you can get in...
What kind of experience do you have? I don't have any experience but I am going to a local tech school to take 2 years of school. That's my first step. To have a sucessful business you have to have a degree from school, a business license, proper tools and equipment, good business insurance and a good reliable service vehicle.
