It's about a girl who trains problem horses. She gentles them, doesn't break them. Her mom died when she was 10 (she's 12 in the book) and she and her dad are trying to get along. Winnie has to 1. Gentle at least 1 horse in each book 2. Keep her grades up 3. Get along with her dad 4. Learn lessons about God in each book 5. Try to not be mean back to the snooty girls in her school I personally love this series and highly recommend it!
