My personal opinion is that PlayStation 3 is better than Xbox360. That is because PS3 has blu-ray discs, which improves the graphics. It doesn't matter that you have a full HD TV if you don't have HD discs. But when the new Xbox will come out, they'll also have HD discs.
Another reason why I think PS3 is better is because you don't have to pay to play online. PS3 is a bit more expensive to buy, but after one or two years, it will be worth it.
But, for some reason, there are more than two times more people playing Xbox 360 than PS3. Most of the "pro" players, as in those you can watch on YouTube, play on Xbox 360, and when you play online, you notice fast that there are much more professional players on the Xbox.
