Yelling at a friend isn't a nice thing to do. It doesn't mean that they aren't a true friend if they yell at you but it does mean that they do not know how to address being angry or upset with a friend.

If your friend yelled at you, then there is likely emotional feelings involved, and you need to listen carefully to see what you need to do. The friend may be venting about something other than you. Or, you may have overstepped boundaries, and need to make amends. You can go away and think about it rather than reacting in kind right away.

If she/he is a true friend, she'll/ he'll apologize for what shes/he's done. But, its all about the approach. Just remember, tell her/him how you feel!
