One dollar, unless it is uncirculated (and bagged with a seal) then it might be worth a little more.
The1959 dollar is 20% copper and 80% silver. 1,443,502 were made. Today (12/10/09) the spot price of silver is $17.70 an ounce. It's worth, just for the the bullion content should be judged accordingly. It is definitely worth more than a dollar.

No I'm sorry. Its made from 100% Nickel. No silver!

If you find one from 1966 or earlier you'll have more luck. P3M Refining and other coins or silver buyers will gladly buy every silver dollar pre 1967.
