no it is not :\
Yes, in 2000 the Malibu dropped its I4 engine leaving just the 3.1L V6 which remained the same in the 2000 to 2003 model years. It is also the same on the 2004 to 2005 Chevrolet Classic which is just a re-badged Malibu.
it should fit,the mounts are the same.
The 1999 Chevy Malibu with the 2.4 engine does not use a PVC valve. Instead the system uses an oil/air separator that can clog up and cause the same symptoms.
Assuming they are both 3.1L V6, they are not exactly the same. The upper intake and front cover are different. If you are swapping motors and don't mind some extra work, it can be done. I owned dozens of these cars when I was a car dealer.
yes they are the same engine!!
No. They are the same
if it is the same number on it!!
If they are both V6, then yes. '97-'99 all the same.
Yes. '99-'01 same
Kinda.... an 03 Malibu has some updated parts and sensors and a slightly better engine but overall they are like 98% the same... The '99 and older Malibus are much more diffrent than 01 and newer 03 Malibu LS owner
if the amperage is the same and it has the same mounts.
it should fit as they both have the same engine but is it manual or automatic
