yes, it depends. If it's the same 2.3 Naturally aspirated engine. A DISI turbo mazdaspeed engine will not.
the dipstick is what tells you how much oil is in the engine
7.6 quarts according to the manual for a 2.3L 2005 Mazda 3. I can't imagine it's any different for a 2008 Mazda 3 with the same engine.
The dealer may be able to provide specs for you. Best to ask when it's not busy if they can print off what you need from their service computer.
4cyl = Mazda BP engine v6 = KLZE engine
This Mazda engine uses a chain.
Yes it is an interference engine
yes but you need different motor mounts
I had the engine light come on in my patrol due to overheating and I had to take the vehicle to the dealer's service centre where they plugged it into the computer which advised why the light came on and then reset it. There was a minimal service fee for this. I assume it will be the same process for the Mazda.
The amount of oil that goes into a Mazda 3 2.3 liter engine is 4.5 quarts. This would equal 4.3 liters.
Below the intake behind the alternator.
