It's average. Mostly they say a 2.0 is average, but in reality because of grade inflation a 3.0 is more like average in college. You're not failing, but it'd be better if you could pull your average up above 3.0.

Depending on which system your college or high school is on because if they have + or - in their grades then you average out to a B-, otherwise you have a high C average. Yes it is! You need to try to shoot for at least a 3.0 are higher (if on a 4.0 scale)
