One that old is apt to be very high on miles- assuming it is not, if you have not already purchased it, I would advise against. It was a fad because of the hot rod body style but after it wore off people dumped them in droves. I can't speak as to reliability, but many say they are uncomfortable for lengthy commutes and very underpowered for the weight (slow) A car dealer even told me not to buy one they had for sale on their lot (he was a friend) He didn't say why but he said they were total junk-it must be pretty bad when a dealer will sacrifice income to keep you from buying. Hopefully others will add more for you

YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE SPARK PLUG WIRES AT THE SAME TIME. INSTALLATION AT MY REGULAR JAPANESE CAR MECHANIC WAS AROUND $90 AND I WAS GOOD TO GO! CAR NEVER RAN BETTER IN ITS LIFE!! YES CHANGE THEM!!
