This is a American Silver Eagle 1 ounce bullion coin. The value is tied to the spot price of silver at time of sale. As of 1-18-12 it's $30.24 per ounce. This price is a little less than you could buy it for and a little more than you could sell it for. But it gives you an idea of value. Collectors versions of this coin do have slightly higher values.
NOTE: The spot price of silver and other precious metals changes by the minute when the market is open. So the value of this coin will go up and down.
There's no such coin. All 1922 silver dollars carried a portrait of the head of Miss Liberty, not a full image. The walking Liberty design was used on half dollars from that period but the Mint didn't make any halves in 1922. Please look again and post a new question with more information.
Value depends on if it's a Walking Liberty half dollar or a Monroe Doctrine half dollar, both are dated 1923 and both have "S" mintmarks.
6-10-11>>> The coin is NOT an Liberty silver dollar, it's a PEACE dollar (1921-1935) and assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, retail values are $36.00-$40.00, this date is the most common of all Peace dollars.
It's still worth one dollar.
Assuming you mean a Walking Liberty design bullion piece sold by the mint as a "silver eagle", its value will fluctuate with the price of silver. As of 01/2009 a $1 silver eagle retails for $10 to $11.
Walking Liberty half dollars were minted from 1916 through 1947.
There's no such thing as a 1907 walking liberty dollar. For starters, there were no silver dollars minted from the years 1905 to 1920. Secondly, the walking liberty design was featured on the HALF dollar, but not until 1916.
All silver dollars from 1922 to 1935 carry the Peace design. There has never been a Walking Liberty silver dollar, only a 50¢ piece, and these were not struck in 1922.
Please check your coin again. The Walking Liberty design was used on HALF dollars during the 1930s, but there were no half dollars or silver dollars minted in 1930 due to the Great Depression.
Check that coin again, because what you're describing doesn't actually exist. There were no silver dollars minted that year, and the Walking Liberty design (on the half dollar) wasn't introduced for another decade.
