A 4.5 inch erection is perfectly big enough for any use you care to put it to and as you are 17 there is still time for it to grow bigger before you have completely finished going through puberty. The average length of an erect adult penis is 6 to 7 inches but remember that this is just an average. Some guys have small erections than this and some guys have longer ones. Anything from 2 to 10 inches is not uncommon. There is very little you can do to increase the length of your penis. Surgbly the only realistic option but I'd consider that a bit drastic.
