in Chevy the 72 350 runs naturally by carburetor. the 96 350 has roller lifters, electric pump, sealed intake water jakets, angled plugs, head to intake bolts are angled/but washers are used to fit any intake, timing chain/cover is newed design, the cam can be changed without removing the lifters by rotating the engine by hand a couple of times, optical spark control by PC, cam driven water pump, heads have angled plugs, exaust ports are reshaped but can still use older headers, and a hidden half cuted shaft if u want to carburated insted of using its original tpi system. the only belt driven pumps are the a/c, alternator an Power Steering. the rest are electric. the ls seres contains more complicated ignition.
