94 and 97 are slightly different but will still fit non-the-less. More then likely you would also need the ecu that came with the 94 along with the wire harness. i don't believe the engine mounts are different but they could possibly be. regardless a little moddification can solve this. I swapped a 4efte starlet motor into a 91. all i needed was custom mounts, a re-worked wire harness, and the ecu that came with the 4efte engine. Ran like a champ.
yep that engine there is compatible with all lincolns from 90-97
yes

Call the parts store.
no
It depends on what motor was in the 94 and the 97...if they are the same motor then yes the tranny will fit if the 97 is a manual as well
94 + 97 = 191...
I just changed the rear axle on my 94 Tercel. once you get a new axle ( suggest you get a use one because of price). There is 2 bolts that go into the frame just under the rear seat area. you then pull the bolt sfrom the shocks and disconnect the brakes. Installation is just the reverse.
103.2% of 94.
97 minus 94 minus 20 is equal to -17.
the motor it self is the same but you will have to change most of he sensors, the pugs are different, and the egr plug is different so i changed the plentum on top of the motor to make it easier, this was my first engine swap and it started on the first try.i took a 3100 out of a 94 se and put it in m 97 gt.
Don't know about 97 but my 95 Tercel with 5EFE gets between 42 to 44 mpg
