AMD frequency do not add stepping technology specs and multithreading load into their marketing. They tell you the true average frequency while bench-marking speeds live. Intel will include the total processor capabilities and not mention the actual frequency until it is bench-marked, so short answer is yes. Intel 4Ghz processors is about equal to an AMD 3Ghz processor, although Intel would handle data better and AMD will perform better for gaming.
by far not even a comparison
Itanium, amd athlon,athlon,pentium
No. The Pentium II is much older than an Athlon XP 3200, by about six years. The Athlon XP was designed to compete with early Pentium 4s.
I can tell you that a AMD Athlon is better for games but a Intel Pentium is better for educational purposes. I'l hope you a answer on your question. Regards, Jack
Any processor that is an Intel Pentium III, Pentium 4, Pentium D, Core Solo, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, or Core i7, as well as most AMD Athlons, AMD Athlon 64, AMD Athlon 64 X2, and AMD Phenom.
If everything else is equal (hard drive speeds, memory size and video card hardware, etc) the AMD 4000+ is quite a bit faster than a Pentuim 4 2.4ghz.
There are many types of CPU's.. 3 types of CPUs are: CISC: Complex Instruction Set Computers RISC: Reduced instruction Set Computers MISC: Minimal Instruction Set Computer
AMD anthlon x2 dual core. AMD has more quality. Much faster and hold more space/memory. INTEL are OK, but bad. anything AMD is ALOT better!
In this case, the 75. But if you find a Athlon x2 QL-65, that is faster.
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500
Probably, but the answer really depends on your motherboard. Go to the motherboard manufacturer website and look to see what processors are compatible with your motherboard.....ummm can u give example of the sites?
Basically there are two types of processors which are manufactured by two companies and they are Intel and AMD. Now there are a number of varieties available in both Intel and AMD. Intel offers Pentium Pro, Pentium II, Celeron, Pentium II Xeon, Pentium III, Pentium II and III Xeon, Celeron with Pentium III Based, Pentium 4, Pentium M, Intel Core, Dual Core Xeon LV, Intel Pentium Dual Core, Intel Core 2. Pentium Duo, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Quad, Intel Pentuim 2 Dual Core Processor. AMD processors include AMD Athlon, AMD Athlon 64, AMD Athlon X2, AMD Athlon Xp, AMD Duron, AMD Sempron, AMD Turion, MD Opteron and AMD Phenom 1. Moreover, there are various processors offered by various companies like Macintosh processor. In other words different processors are used for different types of technology.
