If everything else is equal (hard drive speeds, memory size and video card hardware, etc) the AMD 4000+ is quite a bit faster than a Pentuim 4 2.4ghz.
It would vary on a chip-by-chip basis, but most AMD Athlon 64 chips were much faster at the same clock rate.
by far not even a comparison
it is 35% faster than Pentium
non!!! Intel celeron is better than Intel Pentium dual core
No. The Pentium II is much older than an Athlon XP 3200, by about six years. The Athlon XP was designed to compete with early Pentium 4s.
The Intel chip is faster and is easier to overclock than the athlon.
Both processors are in the Pentium Dual Core family. The Pentium Dual Core E2200 is better than the other.
This is dependent on the type of code being run, as well as the clock speed of the processors. 16-bit code, for instance, was much slower on the Pentium Pro than the Pentium, while 32-bit operations were generally slightly faster.
No. The Pentium predates the Pentium D by more than a decade.
As a whole, the Pentium 4 has a higher maximum performance than a Pentium III. The Pentium III performs the same as or better than Pentium 4 at the same clock speed, but the Pentium 4 has a higher max clock speed (which the Pentium 4 was designed for).
No. The Intel Core 2 Duo is much faster than the older Pentium 4.
Yes.
The Pentium 166mhz is a old socket 7 a very early Pentium prossessor,The Pentium 4 is modern form factor, much faster and more prossessor cach than the old chips.
